Move Out Procedures

Dear Resident,

When you assumed your occupancy with Cincinnati Premier Realty, Inc, you found your apartment ready to occupy.  Except for painting, we ask that you leave it in the same condition as it was when you moved in.  The following is an easy checklist to use to ensure prompt refund of your deposit when you vacate the apartment.

1. Fulfill the terms of your lease.
2. Give proper written 60 day notice of intent to vacate by the 1st day of the appropriate month.
3. Return all keys and complete vacation by 12:00 noon on the last day of occupancy.
4. Provide us with a forwarding address.
5. Any storage lockers (if applicable) must be emptied and cleaned.
6. Do not leave any furniture or debris on the grounds or by the dumpster/garbage area
7. Make sure the following items are done before you leave or minimum charges as described below may be assessed. (Download PDF)

Kitchen                                                                                              

            Wipe down exterior and interior of all cabinetry ($30)           
            Remove any contact paper properly (if applies) ($30)           
            Clean refrigerator inside and out ($20)
            Clean freezer inside and out ($20)
            Clean sink and countertop ($15)
            Clean and mop floor ($20)
            Clean stove top ($15)
            Clean inside of oven ($15)
            Clean or replace all 4 drip pans ($25)

Bathrooms

            Wipe down medicine cabinet inside and out ($15)
            Clean vanity top and inside cabinetry ($20)
            Clean toilet inside and out ($15)
            Clean tub and surrounding tile ($25)
            Clean and mop floor ($20)
            Replace towel bar ($35)

Living/Dining Room

            Replace any broken vertical blind slats ($10 each)
            Blinds missing or damaged if applicable ($50 each)
            Wash a/c filter, dry, and put back ($15)
            Leave a/c remote ($50)
            Wipe down ceiling fan ($20)

Bedrooms

            Blinds missing or damaged ($50 each)
            Clean closets ($15)
            Leave a/c remote ($50)

Floors

            Sweep and damp mop all hardwood floors ($20 per room)
            Vacuum and steam clean all carpeting ($30 per room)

Miscellaneous

            Hardwood floor scratches needing repaired ($ time and material)
            Hardwood floors that need refinishing due to excessive wear,
scratches, pet odor, or pet damage ($ time and material)
            Sweep down balcony/patio ($20)
            Furniture left in apartment ($50 per piece)
            Remove trash ($10 per bag)
            Sink/tub chips ($20 per chip)
            Bedroom/closet door replacement ($90 each)
            Patio screen/glass replacement ($75/$150)
            Door keys not returned ($25 per key)
            Mailbox key not returned ($25 per key)
            All light bulbs must be operational ($5 per standard bulb/$10 per specialty bulb)
